55 North

Congrats to another winner of our Small Business Big Impact Award: 55 North! 55 North is a nonprofit organization giving back to our community by providing transportation, nutrition, social support, and health and wellness activities for older adults. Cozy Home

Owner Morgan Brown of Cozy Home Child Care and Learning Center speaks to how her small business helps out the community in a unique way. This Big Impact Award Winner is a local daycare center in the Cincinnati area that provides flexible childcare for working families.


Queen City Kitchen

Queen City Kitchen is a homeless soup kitchen and pantry located in Walnut Hills and Over the Rhine. Through the pandemic, demand for hot meals, groceries, clothing, coats & shoes has significantly increased, nearly doubling. Queen City Kitchen has continued to support the community and bring people together.


Visionaries + Voices

Visionaries + Voices is a Cincinnati based non-profit art studio that provides artists with developmental disabilities professional, creative, and educational opportunities.


Zorbas Gyros

Zorbas has been offering free meals to anyone who needs food during these tough times and doesn't want anyone to go to sleep on an empty stomach. In return all they want to see is positive thinking between others and for everyone to just be kind to one another while standing together to help during this time.


Tristate Plastics

Tristate Plastics is giving back and helping their local community during the Covid-19 pandemic. They began running programs to fabricate over 100,000 face shields, sneeze guards, barriers, tabletop dividers, intubation, and more for local hospitals and nursing home. They've helped local restaurants & schools reopen safely and also have employed people that lost their jobs by bringing them kits.


The Bill and Betsy Scheben Care Center

A non-profit adult daycare, supporting adults with physical or intellectual disabilities. When the pandemic hit they created virtual programs & events that included activities, storytime, and exercise classes along with hand-delivering activity packets to each client's home. Bill and Betsey Scheben Care Center donated and distributed care packages everyday including anything that people need.


Horizon Community Funds

Horizon Community Funds launched the Horizon NKY Coronavirus Relief Fund at the start of the pandemic which was used to pull together the resources available from local businesses, nonprofits, and individuals contributions that would then be deployed into the community where there was the largest need.
