Volunteer Programs

Our communities mean everything to us, which is why we encourage our employees to give back to those in need. altafiber employees receive 40 hours of paid volunteer time each year to volunteer with local nonprofit organizations, in addition to annual volunteer events and charity drives. We champion the mantra “give where you live,” and we’re proud to give over 10,000 hours of service to the communities where we live, work, and do business.

We’re proud of not only the hours we give, but also the way we give them. When our employees aren’t getting their hands dirty building homes with Habitat for Humanity or cleaning up neighborhoods with Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, they are using their career-specific skills to tutor students, serve as court-appointed special advocates, and more. Our teams are able to mobilize at a moment’s notice to serve neighbors in need during times of crisis and natural disaster. Volunteerism is in our corporate DNA and we are always ready to lend a helping hand.
