Setup email
- To set up an email account and manually enter the settings, follow these steps:
- Go to the Home screen.
- Scroll to the right.
- Choose Email.
- If this screen appears, choose the options symbol. Then, choose Settings and then Add account.
- If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.
- Choose Other.
- Under EMAIL ADDRESS, enter your email address
- Under PASSWORD, enter your password
- Choose MANUAL SETUP.
- Check IMAP4.
- Choose NEXT.
- Under IMAP4 SERVER, enter imap.fuse.net
- Under SECURITY TYPE, choose SSL or START TLS.
- Under PORT NUMBER, enter 993 or 143
- Scroll down.
- Under USERNAME, enter your email address
- Under PASSWORD, enter your password
- Choose NEXT.
- Under SMTP SERVER, enter smtp.fioptics.com
- Under SECURITY TYPE, choose SSL or START TLS.
- Under PORT NUMBER, enter 587 or 25
- Scroll down.
- If Sign-in required is turned off, turn on Sign-in required.
- If Sign-in required is turned on, go to the next step.
- Under USERNAME, enter your email address
- Under PASSWORD, enter your password
- Choose NEXT.
- The information will be verified.
- If an error message is displayed, verify the settings and choose NEXT.
- Under ACCOUNT NAME, enter Fioptics
- Under YOUR NAME, enter your name
- Choose DONE.
- If this screen appears, choose ALLOW.
- If this screen does not appear, skip the next step.
- Choose an option, in this case ALLOW.
- The e-mail account has been configured and is ready for use.
- Return to the Home screen.
- You can now send and receive email from this account.
