altafiber (formerly known as Cincinnati Bell) entered into a partnership with Butler Rural Electric Cooperative to construct fiber to the home high-speed broadband to over 2,000 underserved members, which was completed in 2021. In 2022, BREC and altafiber announced a continued partnership to build fiber to the remaining 2,200 members that were underserved.
